Carrie Belleau

VILLE PLATTE – Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 PM at Ardoin’s Funeral Home in Ville Platte, on Wednesday, January 20, 2021 for Carrie D. Belleau, 94, who passed away on Sunday, January 17, 2021 surrounded by her loving family.

Due to COVID-19 restrictions we ask that all visitors wear a face covering.

Deacon Chuck Ortego will conduct services.

Burial will take place in Evangeline Memorial Park Cemetery.

She is survived by her two sons, Paul Belleau and Glenn Belleau; daughter, Cindy Belleau Briley and husband, Ted; six grandchildren; eighteen great grandchildren; eight great-great grandchildren; brother, Adam Doucet, Jr.; and three sisters, Evelina Owens, Leona Lavergne, and Eda Daigle.

She is preceded in death by her parents; Adam Doucet, Sr. and Lucia Sonnier Doucet; husband, Hubert Belleau; grandson, Casey Adam Briley; sister, Theresa Doucet Benoit; and two brothers, Harry and Darrell Doucet.

At the request of the family, visitation will take place at Ardoin’s Funeral Home of Ville Platte of Tuesday, January 19, 2021 from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM.  A rosary will be recited at 6:00 PM on Tuesday.  Visitation will resume on Wednesday, January 20, 2021 from 8:00 AM until time of service.
