Charles Garner

VILLE PLATTE - It is with great sadness and heavy hearts that the family of Charles Richard Garner, Sr. age 79 announces his passing on Friday, March 13, 2015 at Mercy Regional Medical Center in Ville Platte. A memorial service will be celebrated in his honor at a later date.
Charles was a proud veteran having served his country for 8 years in the Marine Corp Reserve. He was also a loving father and grandfather. He will be lovingly remembered by his son Charles R. Garner, Jr. of Ville Platte and his daughter Cathy Lucille Beckwith of Houston, Texas. Also left behind to cherish his memory are his two grandchildren: Brandon and Aaron Wosnitsky and his great grandchild Rhea Wosnitsky all of Houston, Texas.
He now rests with his beloved wife Mary Gilda Garner and his parents Robert and Winona Florence Garner.
