Ville Platte- A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 AM on Monday, March 13, 2017 at St. Peter's Catholic Church in Pine Prairie. Father Kenny Mayne will officiate the service. Burial will follow at St. Peter's Catholic Church Cemetery.

Ms. Evans, age 86 and a resident of Pine Prairie, passed away on Friday, March 10, 2017.

The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Ardoin's Funeral Home of Ville Platte from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM on Sunday, March 12, 2017. It will reopen on Monday, March 13, 2017 from 8:00 a.m. until time of service.

She is survived by her daughter, Linda Evans Moore and husband Bob; brother, Darrel Ardoin, sisters, Mary Savant and husband Raymond, Betty Ardoin Guillory and husband Wendell and Judy Ardoin Simar and husband Lynn, sisters-in-law, Janell Fontenot Ardoin and Sherry Ardoin; and grandchildren, Christy Lin Moore and Brandon Sterling Moore.

She now rests with her husband Albert "Snook" Evans, parents, Clifford and Edna Savant Ardoin; brothers, James Davis "J.D." Ardoin and Wade Ardoin and sister, Maxine Ruth Ardoin Reed.
