VILLE PLATTE It is with great sadness and heavy hearts that the family of Geraldine Deville Guillory, 67, announces her passing. She died peacefully Wednesday, April 2, 2014 at Heritage Manor Nursing Home of Ville Platte. A graveside service will take place in the Hidden Cemetery of Ville Platte at 2:00 PM Thursday, April 3, 2014.
A loving mother, grandmother and sister, Geraldine leaves behind her beloved children: James Argetsinger, Kevin Argetsinger and his wife, Shelia, both of Ville Platte, Joseph Wayne Guillory and his wife, Stacy of Mamou, Daniel Ray Guillory and his wife, Linda of Ville Platte and Debra Marcantel and her husband, Matthew of Pine Prairie. Her memory will be forever cherished by her eight precious grandchildren and her four great grandchildren they were her greatest joy here on earth. She will be sadly missed by her siblings: Gerald Deville, Robert Deville and his wife, Effie, both of Ville Platte and Shirley Andrus of Pine Prairie. Geraldine was a homemaker who devoted herself to the care and well being of her family. She was a kind and loving woman and spending time with her precious family and friends brought her a great deal of happiness.
Geraldine will now rest in Heaven with her beloved husband, Vernell Guillory and her dear parents, Olan and Relice Fontenot Deville. Her arrival will be met with open arms and joyous hearts for their reunion will surely be a blissful event.
