VILLE PLATTE - Funeral services will be held at a 10:00 AM Mass of Christian Burial at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Ville Platte, Louisiana on Wednesday, June 27, 2018 for Gurcie G. Roberie, who passed away on Sunday, June 24, 2018 in Opelousas, Louisiana.

Father Taj Glodd will be celebrant of the mass and will conduct the funeral services.

Burial will take place in the Sacred Heart Cemetery.

Gurcie G. Roberie was a lifelong resident of Grand Prairie, and more recently of Ville Platte.

She is survived by her son, Don Roberie and his wife, Edith, of Zachary; her brother, Rodney Fontenot of Holden, LA; Grandchildren: Doug Roberie and his wife, Brandi; David Roberie and his wife, Renee'; and great grandchildren: Mackenzie, Chance, Cason, Wade, and Nate.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Louis and Elizabeth Saucier Guillory; her husband, Russel Roberie; her brothers, Allen Fontenot, Carrol Guillory, and Calvin Guillory; and her sister, Emily West.

The family requests that visitation be observed at Ardoin's Funeral Home in Ville Platte on Tuesday, June 26 from 5:00 PM until 9:00 PM. A rosary will be recited at 6:30 PM on Tuesday and will be conducted by Deacon Gene LeBouef. Visitation will continue Wednesday, June 27 from 8:00 AM until time of service.
