TURKEY CREEK – Funeral services will be held at Ardoin’s Funeral Home in Ville Platte on Monday, December 28, 2020 at 6:30 PM for Jake Anthony Lee, 31, who passed away on Thursday, December 24, 2020 at Ocshner Medical Center in New Orleans, LA.

Deacon Chuck Ortego will officiate the services.

Jake Anthony Lee was born on December 1, 1989 to Gene Anthony and Sherral Deshotel Lee in Opelousas, Louisiana. Jake was loved by many and will be greatly missed and fondly remembered.

Jake is survived by his wife of nine years, Erica Malone Lee; his parents, Gene Anthony Lee and Sherral Lee of Belaire Cove; four children, Brantley Jordan-Mark Lee, Isabelle Rose Lee, Isaiah Anthony Lee and Natalie Rachelle Lee; two sisters, Shaunda Lee and fiancé, Bobby Hipps of Fayetteville, AR and Misty Lee and fiancé, Chris Ardoin of Pine Prairie; paternal grandmother, Jeanetta Vidrine of Ville Platte; mother-in-law, Sandy Malone Rogers of Turkey Creek; brother-in-law, David Malone and fiancé, Kourtney Hebert of Grand Prairie; niece, Mindy Soileau; three nephews, Zack and Alex Soileau and Reagan Malone and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.

Jake is preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Murphy and Rosa Mae Deshotel; paternal grandfather, Harold Joseph Lee; father-in-law, Billy Rogers; and great niece, Masieynn Anderson.

At the request of the family, visitation will take place at Ardoin’s Funeral Home in Ville Platte on Monday, December 28, 2020 from 11:00 AM until 8:00 PM.  A rosary will be recited in his honor Monday evening at 6:00 PM.
