VILLE PLATTE It is with great sadness that the family of James Lenus Soileau, 57, announces his passing on Friday, September 16, 2011. Funeral services will be held Sunday, September 18, 2011 at 2:00 PM at Ardoins Funeral Home in Ville Platte. Burial will follow in the Evangeline Memorial Park Cemetery with Pastor Kevin West officiating services.
Mr. Soileaus four great passions in life were hunting, fishing, LSU, and the New Orleans Saints. He leaves behind to cherish his memory his mother Emma Joyce Soileau of Port Barre, two brothers Tommy Phillip Soileau and wife Melanie of Chicot and Abel Paul Fontenot and wife Lisa Marie of Reddell, his sister Laura Lee Soileau Prejean and husband Wayne of Arkansas, 7 nieces, 3 nephews, and 8 great nieces.
He now joins in heaven his father Nolan Soileau, maternal grandparents George Sr. and Emma Soileau, paternal grandparents Onezine and Martha Soileau, and his sister Martha Jean Soileau.
At the request of the family, visitation will be held at Ardoins Funeral Home In Ville Platte on Saturday, September 17, 2011 from 4:00 PM until 10:00 PM and again on Sunday, September 18, 2011 from 8:00 AM until time of service.
