Funeral services for Mr. James Mylise Smiley Fontenot will be held at 3pm on Tuesday, August 1, 2006 in Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Ville Platte. Burial will follow in the Platin Cemetery.

Mr. Fontenot a retired driller for an oilfield company died Monday, July 31, 2006 at 4:30 am in Ville Platte Medical Center.
br
Survivors include his wife, Beverly Leblue Fontenot of Ville Platte; two sons, James Keith Fontenot and Kenneth Wayne Fontenot both of Ville Platte; two daughters, Theresa Ann Fontenot and Linda Marie Lee both of Ville Platte; two brothers, Joseph Bobby Fontenot of Ville Platte and Mitchell Wayne Veillon of Houma; one sister, Virginia Faye Fontenot of Lake Charles; ten grandsons and five great grandchildren.

Visitation will be held Monday, July 31, 2006 from 4pm until time of services on Tuesday. A rosary will be recited at 6pm Monday.

Mr. Fontenot is preceded in death by his father, Wesley Fontenot; mother, Adeline Veillon; and step father, Darius Veillon.
