John Deshotels

VILLE PLATTE – The family of John Blake Deshotels announces his passing on Tuesday, June 16, 2020 in Pine Prairie at the age of 60.

John Blake Deshotels was born on March 10, 1960 to John Wade Deshotels, Sr. and Janola Pitre Deshotels in Ville Platte, Louisiana.  He graduated from Louisiana State University Law School and had a law office in Ville Platte for many years.  Blake enjoyed riding motorcycle’s in his spare time.  Blake’s memory will be fondly remembered by those that knew him.

Blake is survived by his son Dustin Deshotels and wife Miranda; two daughters, Bridget Deville and husband Zackery and Hannah Maggio and husband Adam; two grandchildren, Parker Deville and Jolie Maggio; three brothers, Rankin Deshotels and wife Kathy, Peter Deshotels and wife Dee, and Zachary Deshotels; and two sisters, Deneen Standford and husband Gary and Ashley Deshotels.

He is preceded in death by his parents John Wade Deshotels, Sr. and Janola Pitre Deshotels
