GRAND PRAIRIE – Funeral Services will be held at a 1:00 PM Mass of Christian Burial, at the Sacred Heart Church Belaire Cove Chapel in Belaire Cove, on Friday, January 8, 2020 for Joseph Clyde LaFleur, 70, who passed away on Tuesday, January 5, 2021 surrounded by his loving family.
Father Andrew Killeen, associate pastor at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, will be celebrant of the mass and conduct services.
Burial will take place at St. Peters Cemetery.
He is survived by his loving wife of 45 years, Debra Sylvester LaFleur; two daughters, Angela LaFleur Manuel and husband, Cody of Grand Prairie and Leslie Maire LaFleur of Baton Rouge; two grandsons, Garrett Manuel and Seth Manuel; and two sisters, Priscilla LaFleur Fontenot and husband, Kenneth of Baton Rouge and Gloria LaFleur Vidrine and husband, Jimmy of Belaire Cove.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Voorhies and Elodie Fontenot LaFleur and brother, Talbert LaFleur.
At the request of the family, visitation will take place at Ardoin’s Funeral Home in Ville Platte on Thursday, January 7, 2021 from 3:00 PM until 8:00 PM. A rosary will be recited by Deacon Ben Soileau at 6:30 PM. Visitation will resume on Friday, January 8, 2020 from 8:00 AM until time of service.
Pallbearers are Garett Manuel, Seth Manuel, Cody Manuel, Waven LaFleur, Kerry Fontenot, and Francis Richard.
