Ville Platte - A Funeral Service will be held at New Life Assembly of on Saturday, May 6, 2017 at 3:00 PM for Mr. Larry J. Brown, 63, of Ville Platte.

Larry was a family man. A man that loved his wife first, and lived for his sons. Other than just his personal family he loved his parents and siblings. He would have done anything for them; even make them smile. Growing up his family could experience fishing trips, camping trips and endless hours in the yard playing baseball. Larry was a great provider. His family never had to worry about having what they needed or wanted. He was a very hard worker who put detail into everything he did. Larry once said "My greatest accomplishment in life was having a loving family and successful sons."

His memory will live on through his wife of 40 years, Jana Brown of Ville Platte; sons Ryan S. Brown and wife Jessica and Marty Brown and wife Ashley of Ville Platte; grandchildren Jordan S. Brown and Kaedan J. Brown; sister, Winna Smith of Chatagnier; and brothers, Tony Brown and wife Gale of Ville Platte and David Brown and wife Missy of Church Point.

He now rests with his parents, Mayuse and Eva Brown; brother-in-law, Fred Smith and sister-in-law, Angie Brown.

At the request of the family visitation will be held at New Life Assembly of God from 10:00 AM until time of service.
