VILLE PLATTE- The family of Leza Foret, age 100, announces her passing on Thursday, January 28, 2016 at Mercy Regional Medical Center in Ville Platte. Services will be held on Sunday, January 31, 2016 at 12:30 PM at Our Lady Queen of all Saints Catholic Church. Burial will follow in the Sacred Heart Mausoleum with Father Mitchell Guidry, celebrant.
At the request of the Foret family, a visitation will be held on Saturday, January 30, 2016 from 10 AM until 8 PM and will reopen Sunday morning at 8 AM until time of services. A rosary will be prayed in Ms. Foret's honor Saturday evening at 6:30 PM.
Mrs. Foret will be greatly missed by her sons, Andrew Gladney Foret of Ville Platte, John Ellis Foret and wife Dorothy of Ville Platte and Gerald Clyde Foret and wife Penny of Texas and one daughter, Lena Mae Foret of Ville Platte. Also left behind to cherish her memory are her eight grandchildren and fourteen great grandchildren.
She will now reunite in Heaven with her husband, Lucius Foret, parents, Decourie and Zelima Guillory, son, James Lucius Foret, brothers, Elton Guillory, Alcide Guillory, Orise Guillory, Odeia Guillory, Joseph "Can" Clarence Guillory, Delta Guillory and sisters, Loycie Guillory Bolfas and Lena Guillory.
Arrangements are entrusted to Ardoin's Funeral Home of Ville Platte, La.
