Funeral services for Mr. Rodnis McGee, 88, will be held Friday, September 22, 2006 at 2pm in St. Anns Catholic Church in Mamou. Burial will follow in the New St. Ann Cemetery. Fr. Bob Courville will officiate the services.

Mr. McGee, a resident of Mamou, died Wednesday, September 20, 2006 at 6:03 pm in Savoy Care Center in Mamou.

Survivors include his wife, Irene Fontenot McGee of Mamou; four sons, Carl McGee of Carlyss, La, Dale McGee, Clayton McGee, and Michael McGee all of Mamou; three sisters, Ellister Manuel and Joyce Reed of Lake Charles, and Mercedes Duplechin of Mamou; thirteen grandchildren and nineteen great grandchildren.

Visitation will be held Thursday from 1pm-10pm and on Friday from 8am until time of services. A rosary will be recited at 6:30pm Thursday.

Mr. McGee is preceded in death by his parents, Henry and Alcina Berzas McGee and a daughter, Delores McGee.
